Mr. Lee has been director of bands at
Mount Pleasant Middle School and
assistant director of Bands at
Mount Pleasant High School since 2004. Originally from Rockwell, NC, Mr. Lee is
graduate of East Rowan High School (1999) and a 2004 graduate of
Pfeiffer University. At
Pfeiffer, he studied music with Ed Kiefer. Under Mr.
Lee's baton, the Mount Pleasant Middle School Band has received back
to back Superior ratings at North Carolina State Concert Festival
and a recent Superior rating at the Carowinds Music Festival in
Charlotte.
As a drum corps veteran (Carolina Crown and The Crossmen), Mr. Lee incorporates advanced technique into his beginner band courses, so that each student will not only know their instrument, but also the role of their instrument. Prior to receiving his position at Mount Pleasant Middle School, Mr. Lee was assistant corps director of The Crossmen Drum and Bugle Corps. Mr. Lee currently resides in Concord. |
